The Fae Courts

The Grand Architects shaped the world and it's  inhabitants. Among their first creations were the fairies, elegant and magical beings tasked with maintaining balance and harmony in nature. The Grand Architects granted the first royal families everlasting life, should they accept their positions as Keepers of the Seasons. Thus the Fae Pantheon and courts were formed.

Cyclaria

The Harmony of Seasons

The majority of Fae follow what is known as Cyclaria.

*Core Beliefs*

1. The cycles of nature reflect the cycles of life.

3. Fae are guardians of the natural world.

2. *Summer Bloom:* Growth, abundance, and vitality.

    - Colors: Vibrant greens, golds

    - Symbol: Sun

    - Rituals: Honor the peak of life, celebrate love and relationships.

3. *Autumn Harvest:* Transformation, release, and gratitude.

    - Colors: Earthy tones, oranges

    - Symbol: Falling leaf

    - Rituals: Reflect on life's journey, release what's no longer needed.

*Life Stages:*

2. *Coming of Age (Summer):* Young fairies undergo trials, proving readiness for adulthood.

3. *Life Reflection (Autumn):* Fairies review their journey, releasing what's no longer needed.

4. *Ancestor Honoring (Winter):* Fairies pay respects to those who've passed.

*Practices:*

2. Nature connection and stewardship

3. Mindfulness and balance

4. Storytelling and wisdom-sharing

3. The Whispered Wisdom (oral traditions)

*Symbolism:*

3. Nature's cycles (e.g., day/night, tides)

In Cyclaria, fairies honor the cycles of nature, recognizing the interconnectedness of life. They strive for balance, harmony, and wisdom, embracing the ever-changing seasons.

A Rise To Power...

While The Grand Architects appointed the 4 seasonal fae courts to help maintain the balance of nature... over the millenia more fae rose to power.  Albeit unofficial.... these next 5 courts all rose to power in their own ways, claiming courts for themselves, and none of them are related to one another directly though all have at least a pinch of fae blood.
